Just looks good on desktop but not worth it, sound is very good but if you have a smart phone you don’t need this. Smart home feature is not seamless, sometime it works and sometime it ignores your request. Buy just to add an electronic item in your inventory 😇

The Echo Show 8 (2nd Gen) is a frustrating gadget that often feels more like a prank than a functional device. It’s meant to be a handy assistant, but instead, it seems like it has a mind of its own. Whether I’m trying to set reminders or ask for the weather, it frequently pretends not to hear me. The screen is decent, but it gets overshadowed by the constant “I’m sorry, I didn’t catch that” responses. It feels like I’m talking to a wall sometimes. The smart home features can be useful when they actually work, but the delays and misinterpretations make it a piece of junk more often than not. It’s not just annoying; it’s like having a stubborn toddler in my living room, refusing to listen. In short, the Echo Show 8 (2nd Gen) can be a real headache, making you wonder if it’s more trouble than it’s worth.
