I love this book. I’ve seen and tested a lot of these type of notebooks over the years, and I feel like this one holds up to everything I would expect it to be. I think that this one probably is a bit better due to the value, but there’s nothing particularly different or new about it. Just average and reliable.

I really like the format of this journal – it has a lot of great tips in the front pages followed by two-page daily pages with prompts to record your thoughts, a large page for journalling and a visual checklist ‘daily pulse’ to record your mood, hydration, nutrition, screen time etc.
The front section starts out with some basic mental health information and a few pages to record your current situation, identify some core values and what you want for the future. There are additional reference pages on anxiety, depression, reframing negative thoughts, self-care, mindfulness and so forth These can be beneficial to anyone i think – everyone goes through ups and downs and can benefit from some of the strategies shared in this journal.
There is also a habit tracker which can be very useful when trying to instill a new habit since you have a visual record of your progress. You can write it whatever it is that you want to track – there is plenty of room for tracking daily, weekly and monthly habits!
For those new to journalling there are also some sample filled-in pages to get an idea of how to use this book.
I think this will be a ‘go to’ book for me, especially the front reference materials. Sometimes when life ‘hits’ you it is nice to have something to leaf through to get tips to get yourself back on track.
The book has a large ring binding so it lays perfectly flat when opened, and a subtle gold-embellished design of leaves, sun and crescent moon on the front – which feels very serene. The cover i’d call a very light lavender – almost neutral – and it comes with two ribbon bookmarks.

I do like this journal, only suggestion that I have is that it should have more task to complete after the first 20 pages the rest of the book is just the same thing until the end. Other than that the design is nice and is easy to use and understand.
